  3. Well, I think I have a functioning demo to send to Giark for the List 
  4. game (using John Bintz's old raycasting routine). I didn't want to 
  5. have to use his, (I would prefer to use mine) but it was the only one 
  6. I could work out on such short notice. I would have (and will be) 
  7. using mine in the future as soon as I get it worked out (I've had 
  8. a problem with the distance), but until then, this will have to do.

  10. Attached is MY routine thus far (not the demo for the List game, 
  11. but my raycasting routine, with the ASCII tables needed to run it, 
  12. which, btw, are not converted to banks yet). I'm sending it to the 
  13. List in the hopes that someone will be able to help me figure out 
  14. exactly what's wrong with it. I've seriously considered re-writing it 
  15. and starting over after I finish up my current demo.

  17. Anyhow, anyone may look at it and modify it as they wish (so long 
  18. as to make it work), and then send it what they've done/modified.
  19. You may NOT spread it around, except for the purpose of letting 
  20. someone else see and/or correct-modify it.

  22. I would have refrained from sending this TO the List, but I figured 
  23. this way EVERYONE can see it, which would mean more people could help 
  24. me than the the 3 I originally asked (Two of which will remain 
  25. nameless at this time, and the third which DID help me (Mush) via 
  26. e-mail and IRC. Thanks Mush.) I don't want to hear any complaining 
  27. either. This files NO BIGGER than 6k, and w/the message, it's nothing 
  28. to whine about, especially considering it's worth it.

  30. Again, I'm thankful for ANY (but please useful) help anyone can give 
  31. me. Mail me if you have any questions (even though I've documented 
  32. just about everything, so there shouldn't be any problems.) The .lha 
  33. has been UUencoded for your convience. If you can't open it (or it's 
  34. corrupt), just mail me and I'll send it again encoded differently.
